CORE
Golf CORE Golf was founded in 2001 to help junior golfers achieve
their goals and become outstanding players. The concept, "Creating Opportunities for Reaching Excellence,"
or CORE has a mission to turn Illinois into one of the top junior golf states in the country. Brett's belief was
that juniors were being taught by some of the best teachers in the game, at some of the best facilities in the country, but
not enough was being done from a coaching, scoring, on course training, and just being educated about their games and what
it takes to succeed. "Coaching is much different than teaching" says Brett, "as their teacher I instruct
them on the golf swing or short game, pointing out flaws and key areas to work on. As their coach, I am watching them
practice, setting goals, watching them play in tournaments, mentoring tournament schedules, assisting in resume writing, and
much more." CORE Golf provides camps, year round training programs, private consultation, private
instruction, and much more. "I believe with year round training programs, tour quality instruction, and professional
coaching, CORE golf will be the leader in junior golf." Brett Packee Jan 2009 -----------------------------------------
The Studio The
Studio, the latest addition to the Brett Packee Golf Companies, is a new indoor golf training facility.
The concept was to provide students a practice faclity where they would be able to increase the quality of their practice
using the same full swing and putting software used by Brett Packee and many PGA and LPGA professionals. "Hitting
balls once or even twice a week at a bubble or outdoor range for 6 months of winter is more warm up than training."
says Brett Packee, 2008 IPGA Teacher of the Year. My partner and I wanted to provide a place where serious students
could train 5-7 days a week, be affordable, and increase the quality of their training."
Located in Deerfield, the private
Studio offers the most serious golfer a place to work on their game year round. Brett Packee, PGA Professional
and 2008 Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year and founder of CORE Golf, and Dr. Jeffrey Fishbein, nationally renown sport psychologist
have teamed up to create a 2000 square foot state-of-the-art indoor golf training facility for members only. Members
will have access to The Studio at their convenience and the opportunity to be trained on the various computer software programs
to allow for self-instruction. In addition, members will be able to attend a variety of seminars and training
programs, entertain clients and have corporate functions, and ultimately enjoy a world-class facility to improve their golf
games. Those who play the game of golf at high levels realize that the winter months are critical for training
and making positive changes to their game. The Studio will allow for instruction on both the physical and
mental aspects of golf during the so-called “off-season,” so that when spring arrives, so does your game.
